Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr. to speak at The Journey Church

WEST CHESTER – Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky and host of popular Christian podcast The Briefing will be preaching at The Journey Church Sunday morning November, 11th 2018 at 10:00AM and will be giving a talk on Christian worldview with a live Q&A session as their Sunday Night Theology guest speaker at 5:00PM that evening.

“Every worldview must give an account of what is wrong with humanity and why the cosmos demonstrates so much death, decay, and apparent meaninglessness. As Christians, we know that the world as we see it contains vestiges of the glory of God that shine through the corruption of the universe blighted by sin. Nevertheless, we are constantly reminded that the entire universe is groaning under the burden of human sinfulness. We are unsurprised by human sin and the awful consequences of that sin. We are able to endure this knowledge because we are confident that this is not the end of the story.”

This Sunday Night Theology talk on Christian worldview will be given by Dr. R. Albert Mohler, president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, at 5:00PM on November 11th, 2018.

Dr. Mohler is the president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, the Southern Baptist Convention’s flagship seminary and one of the largest seminaries in the world. He has been called the “reigning intellectual of the evangelical movement in the U.S.” by Time.com and has appeared on numerous national television programs including NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Good Morning America, and CNN’s Larry King Live.

He has authored several books including  We Cannot Be Silent: Speaking truth to a culture redefining sex, marriage, & the very meaning of right & wrong (Thomas Nelson); Conviction to Lead: 25 Principles for Leadership That Matters (Bethany House); Culture Shift: Engaging Current Issues with Timeless Truth (Multnomah); and Words From the Fire: Hearing the Voice of God in the Ten Commandments (Moody).

He is a member of the Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, serves as a council member for The Gospel Coalition, and is a teaching fellow for Ligonier Ministries. In addition, he is a co-founder of Together for the Gospel.
